The INTERFLEX cutter has been developed for cutting unexposed photopolymer plates and ready-made printing plates. It has a cutting range of 1-8 mm thickness (0.039"-0.315") and is equipped with a motorizes rotary knife which can cut either at 90º or a bevel of 45º. A photocell slows down the cutting speed at the beginning and end of the cycle to avoid distortion of the plate.

Higher efficiency by regeneration. During the washing of photopolymer plates for flexography, solvents are used. In the long run the solvent in the washout station will become saturated by the dissolved monomers. A special recycling process can separate these monomers from the solvent. After this procedure approx. 90% of the solvent can be reclaimed. In view of the moderate cost and the high output a recycling unit is highly recommended.
